Information on Madrid-Barajas “Adolfo Suarez” Airport, Terminals: T1, T2, T3, and T4
Metro (subway) line 8 has stops in Airport, terminals T2 and
Alternative ways from Airport to city center:
- by train from Airport T4;
- by bus, terminals T1, T2 and T4;
- by Taxi: recently a 30 euros plain-fare was established by the Madrid government for all the taxi connection between Barajas Airport and Madrid city center
Information about public transport fares; we recommend one of the following options:
- 10 TRIP TICKET, Metro Zone A, EMT and ML1 ticket (Metrobús): 12.20 €;
- EMT 10 trips ticket with transfer, 18.30 €, this is valid only for bus to bus connections in maximum 60 minutes starting from the first validation;
- Tourist Travel Pass for Zone A. 2 days, 14,20 euros. 3 days, 18,40 euros, 5 days, 26,80 euros.
  It allows for using all the public transports inside the zone of validity and in the established time period. The the card can be purchased at all stations of the Metro network, at the “Centro de Atención al Viajero” (Passenger Assistance Centre) at both airport stations (line 8), at Tourist Offices, Offices of the Regional Transport Consortium, tourist attractions and over the internet; it’s also on sale at some tobacconists and newspaper stands. Children under 11 years old get a 50% discount.
